“The Art of the Financing, A Practical Guide to Commercial Real Estate Loan Underwriting” is an underwriting handbook Richard Khan authored which is continuously updated to reflect changes in the CRE Lending environment. The handbook is an introduction to Commercial Real Estate Lending and is directed toward individuals employed in an insured institution or mortgage banking. The handbook began in 1983 and is continuously updated; it was conceived as a “cradle to grave” handbook.

And, as a Global Senior CRE Underwriter for a multi-national bank, functioning as, among other assignments, a closed loan document quality assurance officer, he authored and designed an underwriting module handbook for the proprietary underwriting system designed and used by the bank. He was an essential contributor to the system and provided design, definitions, and structural elements required in creating the database and continuous beta testing of the system's analytical code and the bank's second-generation underwriting system.

“Feasibility and Optimization - Unique Analytics in Real Estate Valuation” – is a treatise devoted to discussions specifically addressing feasibility analysis and optimization related to Commercial Real Estate Projects. This paper is inextricably linked to commercial real estate analysis.

“Commercial Real Estate Formulae - HP12C and Excel” – a guide translating formulae contained in the "HP-12C Real Estate Applications Handbook" to a working Excel spreadsheet – side by side. A comprehensive analytic designed to allow the user to utilize the HP-12C or Excel in Real Estate analytics.

“The Road to Hell; Wall Street!” – An expose,’ for anyone interested in alleged travails and crimes on Wall Street. It recounts his many years on the path he traveled, unknowingly leading to Wall Street. It outlines, to some degree, the greed and corruption he encountered on Wall Street and elsewhere, and certainly memorable situations and people in the business community.
